Oyo LG Polls: Ex Oyo Assembly Lawmaker, Olayanju Emerges Consensus Candidate For Olorunsogo Council

Leaders and major stakeholders under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Olorunsogo Local government have unanimously picked former Oyo Assembly Lawmaker, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju as the consensus candidate for the 2024 council polls in the state.

Recall that the party in the state had issues a deadline for the submission of forms to it’s Secretariate on or before Friday 14th of July, 2023.

It was gathered that Hon. Olayanju emerged the party’s flagbearer for the forthcoming council polls during a stakeholders meeting held at the local government PDP Secretariate, Igbeti, as party leaders threw their weight behind the ambition of Oke Ogun born media expert.

PDP Leaders that were present at the meeting that produced Hon. Olayanju included, Chief JG Adetoro, Ezikiel Babalola, Hon. Biodun Oni, Ganiyu Opeloyeru, Saminu oladele, Ayantunde Ayandeyi and others

Hon. Olayanju who on Thursday presented his nomination form to the deputy governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal, being a prominent leader in the state, Oke Ogun zone and Olorunsogo LG in particular, appreciated governor Seyi Makinde for his leadership and passion for making Oyo state a better place for all

Hon. Olayanju who thanked the governor for providing a platform for young minds to serve under his administration and to make desired positive change in their communities said he held governor Makinde’s gesture in a very high esteem.
