Hon. Seyi Adisa, a former Principal Private Secretary to ex-governor of Oyo state, late Abiola Ajimobi has described the late politician as a father figure and a builder of people.


In a tribute sighted by newsarena.ng, Hon Adisa who was the immediate past lawmaker in the Oyo state house of assembly and represented Afijio constituency said late Abiola Ajimobi gave him a platform, mentored him and welcomed him into the Ajimobi family.

Seyi Adisa wrote:

“Five years ago today, I received the call I hoped would never come.

“My boss, mentor, and father-figure had transited to glory.

“Senator Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi was more than a leader — he was a builder of people. He gave me a platform, mentored me deeply, welcomed me into his family, and gave me the wings to soar. Through his guidance, I found courage, clarity, and conviction. He modeled what it meant to lead with purpose and boldness, shaping the foundations of my professional journey.

“In private life, he rose to lead multinationals. In public service, he made history — first as a distinguished Senator and then as the first two-term Governor of Oyo State.

“Today, I remember, honour, and celebrate the life and legacy of the Koseleri himself — the man who redefined governance and left a mark too deep to erase.
