Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, OGSIEC has fixed 26th October as the date for the conduct of elections into the offices of Chairmen in all the twenty local governments areas and Councillors of the 236 Wards of the State.
Chairman, Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, Mr Babatunde Osibodu made this known in a statement in Abeokuta.
Mr Osibodu said prospective candidates are expected to obtain their nomination forms in respect of the elections into Local Government Councils from the Electoral Officers at all Local Government Areas not later than August, 20th, 2024.
He admonished all stakeholders to support and cooperate with the Commission to organize and conduct a free, fair and credible election in Ogun State.
