The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun has restated the commitment of the Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to empower its work force through training and re-training.
Mrs Olubamiwo who described the state as the fastest growing States in Nigeria explained that training and re-trainning is an integral part of development in the Civil Service which govenor Makinde was giving priority to.
The SSG stated this while hosting the National President of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) at the SSG’s conference room, Governor’s Office Secretariat Ibadan.
She said the State Government would support their NITAD National Conference scheduled to hold in Ibadan.
According to Mrs. Olubamiwo “we will continue to grow our economy as different professions, bodies and institutes come to Oyo State for study tour, there are a lot of commerce and infrastructural development in the State because of our economy and good governance”.
In her remarks, the National President of the institute Mrs Igbeyi said the present administration in the State had performed very well in terms of workers welfare and infrastructural development for the masses.
She added that NITDA as a training institute is developing talents through learning and man power development across the States
