Oyo LG Election: PDP Presents Party’s Flag To Olayanju As Chairmanship Candidate For Olorunsogo
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP chairmanship candidate for Olórunsogo local government in Oyo state Hon. kazeem Olayanju and his vice, Hon. Adetoro Adegbola have received the party flag to represent the party in the forthcoming election on 27 April, 2027.
The party’s flag was presented by the campaign train of Oyo state PDP held at Irepo/Oorelope /Olorunsogo federal constituency and spearheaded by the Oyo state PDP and the election management committee of the state which has been going round the state to campaign for the party’s candidate in the forthcoming election.
The Director General of the election management committee and the secretary of the party in Oyo state Alh. Wasiu Adeleke led member of the State’s executive council of the party and the election management committee to the campaign in Irepo federal constituency.
It was gathered that with the director general were the Oyo North Senatorial chairman of the party, Hon. Yusuf Yinusa, Hon. Oladele Saminu, the assistant secretary of the party, Hon. Lawal Muhammed, the assistant auditor, Hon. Micheal Ogunsina, the state youth leader and the acting publicity Secretary amongst others.
Alh. Wasiu Adeleke in his speech enjoined the people to come out in their number on 27 of April to vote all PDP candidate on the ballot as the victory for PDP will birth many other things including various opportunities for party members in the council, he equally assure them that those who struggle and couldn’t get elective positions are not doomed as appointments would be open to them as soon as the party records victory at the polls.
Hon. Niyi Adebisi, the commissioner for Establishment and Training and the coordinator for the local government campaign in okeogun zone 2, in his remark commended the unwavering support of the people for the government of the day and their dedication to the affairs of the party, he enjoin the candidates who’s receiving the flag to see it as an opportunity to serve, hence, they must be accommodating to all members of the party.
Among the political functionaries are, Hon. Yakubu Ladoja, Hon. Abiodun Oni, Hon. Nasiru ogede, Hon. J.S Amodu, Hon. Ojekunle Ojemuyiwa, Hon. Alani Al-Wajud, Hon. Moses Alao, Com. Bayo Titlayo Sodo, leader Babalola, Alh Ganiyu Opeloyeru, Hon. Badmus Adesola, Alhaja Maryam Adebayo Apeke, party leaders and stakeholders from our federal constituency.
