Members of the Peoples Democratic Party who diligently labored for Seyi Makinde’s victory in the 2023 governorship race have received assurances from the governor of Oyo state that a new appointment will be announced before May 29, 2024.
During his speech at a public function on Saturday, Governor Makinde revealed that the Omituntun 2.0 administration will be beneficial to the indigenous people of Oyo state.
According to governor Makinde, all indigenes of Oyo state should be aware that much appointment has not be done, and as such, within the next few days, appointment would be rolled out.
In his usual humorous manner, the governor urged those who have already been appointed to keep their mouth shut so that others who are yet to be appointed won’t be thinking that they won’t also benefits.
