The state secretary of ACCORD, Hon. Olayinka Dairo has called on the good people of Oyo state to disregard in totality an unfounded and purported dissolution of the party state working committee under the chairmanship of Prince Kolade Ojo, reiterating that such sham did not emanate from national working committee of ACCORD.
In a statement in Ibadan, Hon. Dairo described the accusation as fake, libelous and figment of imagination of those chasing shadows, as the ACCORD national chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Nalado is a party leader who is always guided by the party constitution.
The ACCORD scribe maintained that the wobble claim was a ruse, a daydream, and handiwork of mischief makers.
Hon. Dairo challenged those hiding behind a finger to spew lies about the executive dissolution that never was to present proof countering the fact that the failed attempt was the last kick of a dying horse.
“It is obvious that telling lies is the stock in trade of unfaithful candidate, who has been engaging in anti-party activities such as collecting whooping sum from candidate of another party during the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections, hobnobbing with other party supporters, while neglecting and denigrating his party hierarchy”.
According to the ACCORD scribe, the state chairman, Prince Kolade Ojo is a member of the national executive committee, NEC which is the highest organ of the party, is informed that the executives cannot just be dissolved by the national working committee, let alone on frivolous and thump up and unjustified allegation.
Hon. Dairo, while calling on the media to always verify information and balance their reports before publication, tasked merchants of cheap and fabricated lies to present evidence of monetary inducements for the formidable coalition with Governor Seyi Makinde or else appropriate legal action will be instituted against them.
