Owo Attack: Churches Tighten Security In Oyo Town

Following the unfortunate recent attack on worshippers in Oyo, Ondo State churches in Oyo state have began to tighten their security architecture.

No wonder churches in Oyo Town now prioritize their security before, during and after the Sunday service.

Newsarena.ng gathered that worship centers rejig their security personnel with different security agents on ground.

Identity of worshippers were carefully verified and cars thoroughly searched to preempt any security breach.

One of the worshippers who recalled last Sunday’s attack on the Catholic Church in Owo town, Ondo state expressed concern over growing fears of insecurity in the southwest region.

Meanwhile, no event was recorded in the ancient town to mark this year’s democracy day as it appeared to have been overwhelmed by talks on insecurity.
