Operatives Would Respond Decisively – Police Warn “Faceless Group” Over Planned Protest In Osun

The Osun State Police Command has warned individuals and groups planning to cause chaos or disrupt public peace in the state under the guise of a planned protest to desist from such acts.

‎The warning followed a notice of protest allegedly issued by a faceless group identified through intelligence as the “Congress of Cultists,” associated with the Neo-Black Movement.

‎The Command, in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mr. Abiodun Ojelabi, said it would not allow miscreants to exploit any situation to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in the state or endanger lives and property.

‎Mr Ojelabi stated that operatives and other security agencies would respond decisively and appropriately to any action capable of threatening peace and security across the state.

‎He advised individuals and groups with grievances or disputes to seek lawful means of resolving them, stressing that no person or group should take the law into their own hands, resort to violence, self-help or reprisal attacks.
