Olorunsogo LG Chairman, Hon Olayanju Swears In House Leadership, Appoints Soliu, Abayomi As Aides
The chairman, Olorunsogo local government area of Oyo state, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju has made his first appointment and sworn in councillors who are members of the council’s legislative arm.
The newly sworn in councillors were:
1. Hon. Oladipupo Joshua Timileyin
2. Hon. Azeez Afeez Adewale
3. Hon. Balogun Alaba Samson
4. Hon. Oni Jacob Oloruntoba
5. Hon. Busari kudus
6. Hon. Kareem Rasheed Alade
7. Hon. Saka saliu
8. Hon. Iyabo Oni
9. Hon. Oloyede Bashir Olabamiji
10. Hon. Ambali sikuru
The council chairman also announced the appointment of two aides, Hon. Soliu Nurudeen Olawale as the chief of staff and Hon. Olayiwola Abayomi Abraham as the S.A Media and Publicity.
At the ceremony which was held on Tuesday, 4th June, 2024, before the vice chairman, Hon. Adetoro Adegbola, party leaders and administrative officers of the local government, Hon. Azeez Afeez Olawale emerged the house leader while Hon. Oloyede Bashir became the chief whip.
Other principal officers of the house were Hon. Oni Olountoba – majority leader and Hon Iyabo Oni – deputy majority leader.
Reacting shortly after the swearing in ceremony, leader of the house, Hon Azeez Olawale appreciated God, the party leaders, members and councilors, promising to prioritize harmonious relationship within the house and with the executive.
Earlier in an address, the executive chairman, Olorunsogo local government, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju Orelope congratulated the newly inaugurated councilors and appointees, praying that God will help them to keep the promises they sworn to the people of the council.
Hon. Olayanju appreciated dignitaries on the occassion and prayed that God will continue to make the local government a reference point in terms of achievements.
Dignitaries present at the occassion include the vice chairman, Hon. Adetoro Adegbola, PDP LG chairman, Hon. Bamidele Moses, party leaders: Hon. Ojekunle jacob, Hon. Saminu Oladele, Chief Ayandeyi David, Alhaji Ganiyu Opeloyeru, among other party faithful.
