New Hijrah: Let’s Relate Harmoniously With Christians, Others – Peller Urges Muslims

In a heartfelt message marking the New Hijrah Year (Islamic Calendar 1446 A.H), Honourable Shina Peller, a distinguished member of the ninth National Assembly and the Ayedero of Yorubaland, called on Muslims everywhere to embrace and advocate for peaceful coexistence, transcending religious, ethnic, and political divides.

“Dear fellow Muslims,

“As we embark on this sacred journey into the Islamic new year (Hijrah 1446 A.H), I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a new chapter in our spiritual lives, filled with opportunities for growth, reflection, and renewal.

“The Hijrah, the migration of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Medina, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of seeking a better life in pursuit of faith and truth. It teaches us resilience, unity, and the unwavering commitment to upholding our beliefs in the face of adversity.
