NACJ, Oyo Assembly Clerk, Sympathize With Speaker, Ogundoyin, Over Mother’s Death

The Oyo State House of Assembly has described the death of Chief (Mrs.) Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin as a rude shock and devastating at this period when her motherly roles will be more required in the legislative support of the State.

The Clerk of the House, Pastor (Mrs.) Yetunde Awe made this known while commiserating with the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin over the death of his mother.

Mrs. Awe described the deceased as a loving and caring mother, a strong supporter of democracy and a peaceful woman of honour whose lifestyle is worthy of emulation.

Her statement revealed further that the death of late Chief (Mrs.) Ogundoyin has left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill up in many aspects.

She prayed that the Lord grant her soul eternal rest.

She further prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, adding that late Chief (Mrs.) Ogundoyin will be greatly missed by the immediate family, Eruwa community, Ibarapa land and Oyo State in general.

In a related development, The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ, Oyo State Chapter, has expressed its condolences to the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, over the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Justina Ogundoyin.

A statement signed by the association’s Secretary, Com. Ikeoluwa Oyetoro on Monday, also condoled the entire Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin Dynasty of Eruwa and the people of Ibarapaland in general, describing the death of Chief (Mrs.) Ogundoyin as a colossal loss to the town.

NACJ noted that the deceased, who was the Iyaloja-General of Ibarapaland, was a great heroine, who contributed immensely to the peace and development of Eruwa, noting that her death undoubtedly, left a great vacuum that will be difficult to fill.

“On behalf of NACJ, we wish to convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, over the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Justina Ogundoyin.”

“She contributed immensely to the peace and development of Eruwa, just as she was a great example to be emulated by all.
