Architect Hassan Olawale Giwa has received leadership honors from two Northern youth organizations, Northern Voice for Credible Leadership (NVCL) and Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance (AYAGG), in honor of his contributions to the community and society as a whole.
According to the officials of the two organizations, the purpose of the recognition awards is to recognize and honor those who have donated money, time, or other resources to the community.
The Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance (NVCL) delegates Comrade Abubakar Munia, Amira Abubakar Ahmed, and Awwal Adamu said that the Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity as Epitome of Diligence Service is to commemorate his enormous achievements to society.
“This Award as Epitome of Diligence Contribution is in gratitude of your relentless effort in promoting peace, young participation, and your selfless service to humanity,” the Arewa Youth Advocacy states.
They acknowledged that through his foundation, Arc. Hassan Giwa had helped the society advance.
While presenting the Award of Excellence as Icon of Community Development, the Coordinator of the Northern Voice for Credible Leadership (AYAGG), Comrade Khalifa Kabiru Andaza, commended Arc, Hassan Giwa for taking the line of assisting the youths and the less privileged in the society.
“This Award is in recognition of your immense contribution towards societal development, human uplifting, youth development and service to the nation,”
Other members of the Northern Voice for Credible Leadership in the company of the Coordinator were Com. Zakariyya Sani, Com. Fatima Abubakar, Com. Hafsat Abdullahi and Com. Maryam.
Arc Giwa expressed his gratitude for the honors and thanked the organizations’ executives for their decision.
Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation’s founder, an entrepreneur based in Abuja, asserted that all well-to-do members of society have a duty to return at least some of the resources that God has given them to the community.
Arc Giwa stated that the award is a challenge to do more for the public while dedicating it to the masses and the less fortunate members of society.
The HOG founder said that the idea of his foundation is to contribute his quota to the development of mankind and the society.
While expressing that his passion for assistance prompted him to establish the foundation, where he will be able to touch many lives in his capacity, Arc Giwa reiterated his commitment to give necessary support to the organizations.
He enjoined all the well-meaning individuals in the society to inculcate the habit of helping one another, especially the less privileged in order to ensure a better society.
