The Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has expressed deep shock over the death of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, the Patriach of Sanni family, and the husband of Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke-Sanni.
In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Chief Kolapo Alimi, Governor Adeleke commiserates with his sister, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni and the entire Sanni family over the loss of such a kind and easy going father figure.
Governor Adeleke recalled with nostalgia the many contributions of the 74 year old late Alhaji Sanni, particularly his exemplary life style as a good father, great and grand father, who did a lot for the growth and development of Islam and humanity in general.
Governor Adeleke also acknowledged and appreciated the many contributions of the late Sanni to him personally, especially during the struggle to become the Executive Governor of Osun state.
He prayed Allah to grant him Aljanah Firdaus just as he urged the family he left behind to take solace in the fact that he lived a good life.
Burial takes place this evening, 25th February, 2024 at Challenge area, Ibadan by 4:00pm
