Gov. Oyetola Inaugurates Wale Ohu, Fola Akinosun Other APC S.W Grassroots Mobilization Council Members [PHOTOS]
The southwest grassroots mobilization, engagement and orientation directorate of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council has been inaugurated in Osun State by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
The inauguration which took place at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Osogbo, officially unveiled Chief Wale Ohu as the Oyo state coordinator and Dr Fola Akinosun as southwest patron, Grassroots mobilization, engagement and orientation directorate, with the mandate of working towards the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in 2023 presidential election.
Chief Ohu and Dr Fola Akinosun who led the Oyo delegate of the directorate to the inauguration were selected based on their track records in grassroots participation in politics over the years and their unrepentant support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition
In a remark, shortly after the inauguration, Chief Wale Ohu urged party faithful to engage all eligible voters at the grassroots to vote massively for Asiwaju in the February 2023 general election.
He described Dr Akinosun, the southwest patron of the Grassroots mobilization engagement and orientation directorate of the presidential campaign council as a strong mobilizer and supporter of the Tinubu-Shettima, Teslim Folarin ambition in Oyo state
Also speaking, a philanthropist and southwest patron of the directorate, Dr. Fola Akinosun said Oyo state has begun grassroots mobilization to deliver at least 90 percent of vote for Asiwaju and all APC candidates across elective positions.
Earlier while Inaugurating the council, Osun state governor , Mr Adegboyega Oyetola stressed that Tinubu/Shetima Presidential ticket was an answered prayer to various challenges confronting the nation.
Governor Oyetola noted that the antecedents of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu were enough to prove that he has solutions to national challenges urging members of the Council to permeate the south-west zone and get massive votes for the party in February 2023 presidential election.
The inauguration also had in attendance two former deputy governors of Osun state, Titi Laoye, Ekiti State House of Reps Member, Oyetunde Ojo, members of APC from the six states of the South West including Omo-Akin and APC new-era groups of the All progressives Congress APC in Oyo state.
