Gender Advocate, Adewale Makes Case For Girls On Int’l Girl Child Day

A gender advocate, Miss Deborah Adewale has emphasized the importance of providing girls with a supportive environment to enable them realize their goals and aspirations.

Miss Adewale made this known at a programme tagged Sabi Ya Health show, in commemoration of the 2023 International Day of the Girl Child

She insisted that society must rally behind its girls, empowering them not to only fulfill their ambitions but embrace their identities with confidence.

Miss Adewale implored parents and guardians to be attentive and actively involved in their daughters’ lives.

She also stressed the need to break free from the outdated tradition of sidelining girls and not listening to her opinions, as it’s high time parents grant their girls greater opportunities and recognition.

Furthermore, miss Adewale advocated for the active involvement of women in decision-making and leadership roles.
