A frontline ,first class monarch and one of the oldest traditional rulers in Ondo State, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, (JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land has joined his ancestors after a brief illness aged 102years .
The monarch’s passage was confirmed by his media aide, Mr Ganiyu Agbelusi.
Late Oba Aroloye led his people for forty eight years after ascending the throne in 1976 during which notable development, progress and numerous transformational innovations were evolved to make Idanre what it is today.
He would be remembered for his passionate love of his people, fairness, impartial judgements, promotion of culture and tradition of his people and above all, his fear of God.
Meanwhile, necessary traditional rites are already being put in place as High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, the Lisa of Idanre land and traditional Prime Minister of Idanre had earlier this morning broken the news to the world in Owa’s palace.
