Excitement As Akorede LCDA Political Head Distributes Solar Security Lights To Communities
In an effort to ensure security of lives and property of residents of the Council area, the Political Head, Akorede Local Council Development Area, in Oluyole Local Government Area, Hon Ayoade Olatunde has distributed Solar powered lights to all communities across the LCDA.
In a statement by the head of information unit of the LCDA, Balogun Kehinde, Hon. Olatunde, shortly before handing over the lights, reiterated that all promises by the present administration to the people of the locality have been delivered.
Hon Olatunde stressed further that, the distribution of the solar powered lights was a tip of the ice berg, noting that his administration would soon embark on the second phase of distribution..
Speaking at the event, Chairmanship Candidate in Oluyole Local Government in the forthcoming local government election, Engr. Akeem Olatunji expressed gratitude to the people of Akorede LCDA for their understanding and unflinching supports for the LCDA Chairman at all times.
He said Oluyole Local Government and Akorede LCDA are one, and that he would “ensure that there is good relationship between the main Council and the LCDA by the time he becomes the chairman.
Hon Olatunji stated that his aspirations is to ensure that Oluyole /Akorede as a whole enjoyed the dividends of democracy as directed by the Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde
The head of Local Government Administration,, HLGA, Engr Eniayewu Kehinde.in his address of welcome, saluted the courage of the Political Head of Akorede LCDA, Hon. Ayoade Olatunde on how he prioritised his people’s wellbeing despite paucity of fund in the Council, and pledged the management support at all times.
In there separate remarks, the representatives from communities across wards expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the council boss for always being prompt in attending to any community issues brought to him and prayed fór a successful tenure for him.
