Encomium As CAC Mountain Of Mercy, Ojoo Celebrates Foremost Preacher, Pastor Johnson Olunlade On 80th Birthday
It was a time of celebration and showering of encomiums as the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Prayer Mountain of Mercy, (Ori Oke Aanu), Ojoo, Ibadan, organised a befitting 80th Birthday and 58 Years Anniversary of Walking With the Lord of a foremost Preacher and Teacher of God’s Word, Pastor(Dr) Johnson Olunlade.
The milestone was marked with a thanksgiving service held at the English Assembly, CAC District Headquarters, Ori Oke Aanu, Ojoo, Ibadan Oyo State.
The celebration was vibrant and filled with heartfelt moments, from the past Students of the Celebrant at the Theology Seminary, his family members, Church and others who had come in contact with him.
In a sermon, DCC Superintendent, CAC Oke Ibukun, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, and one of the Students of the Celebrant, Pastor Paul Shodeke from the Text, Psalm 129:1-4 said, Pastor Olunlade was a committed and diligent man of God who against all odds, held on to God.
Pastor Shodeke noted that, he was happy seeing a Teacher of note whose life had touched many souls and repositioned them for greatness in life.
On his part, another Student of Pastor Olunlade who is the DCC Superintendent, CAC Adamasingba, Ibadan, Pastor Joseph Adigun eulogized him for his steadfastness and trust in God despite all the challenges of life that he faced.
Speaking, the District Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Mountain of Mercy, Ojoo, Ibadan, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade (Omo Woli) thanked God for keeping the Celebrant alive to witness the 80th birthday celebration.
Pastor Alade described Pa Olunlade as a father who has contributed immensely the Christ Apostolic Church, hence the need to celebrate him and thank God on his behalf.
The festivities also witnessed heartfelt remarks and joyous singing and dancing as people celebrated Pa Olunlade’s remarkable life and legacy.
While speaking after the celebration, the Celebrant who could not hide his joy, thanked Pastor Isaiah O. Alade for always putting up surprises for him.
It would be recalled that Pastor Isaiah O Alade through the CAC Ori Oke Aanu Ojoo Ibadan built a house for Pa Olunlade in 2024.
