APC Ibadan North Reps’ Aspirant, Aderonmu “Symbol” Facilitates Empowerment Programme For Youth.

An aspirant in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye election race, under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina popularly known as SYMBOL has facilitated a skill acquisition programme for youths within the Federal constituency.

The programme done by a multimedia organization, ASO Multimedia and sponsored by Federal Inland Revenue Service Tagged ‘Southwest Youths to Benefit’ transformed the beneficiaries who are mainly party members under Ibadan North.

For Mr. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina, the purpose for facilitating the laudable programme was to make a significant impact on the youth and party members of the Ibadan North Constituency which represent Mr Adesina’s ideology of empowering the youths.

During the program participants were equipped with valuable skills in various fields, including Fashion, Beauty, Waste Management, Agriculture, and Information Technology.

Our correspondent reports that, upon completion of the program, each participant received essential materials and a stipend to help them practice and refine their new skills.

This is to enable beneficiaries to truly become self-reliant and potentially create employment opportunities for others in their communities.

The initiative strategically selected fifteen youths from the 12 wards across the constituency to ensure broad representation and inclusivity.

While speaking on behalf of other participants, Mr. Abdul-lateef Jimoh who spoke with journalists on the impact the empowerment programme will have on their socioeconomic status, said the program was not only engaging and insightful but a crucial capacity-building exercise.

He expressed his gratitude to Mr. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina, the FIRS, and the organizers of the ‘Southwest Youths to Benefit’ for the valuable opportunity. He pledged to use the knowledge and skills acquired to benefit himself and other youths in his community.
