The Are Musulumi of Ogbomoso land ,Alhaji Abduganiy Owodunni and all the notable Muslim leaders in Ogbomoso have ordered the temporary closure of Ogbomoso central mosque located at Oja-Igbo, Ogbomoso to allow for settlement of some prevailing matters.
Alhaji Owodunni gave the directive in a statement made available to newsmen.
He said that the closure of Oja-Igbo central mosque in Ogbomoso which takes immediate effect will avail the entire Muslim bodies in Ogbomoso to find a lasting solution to the lingering crisis going on .
He enjoined Muslim worshippers in Ogbomoso to locate another mosque closer them to observe today’s jumat while the matter would being resolved.
As the time of filing this reports efforts made to speak with the chief imam of Ogbomoso Sheik Toliat Ayilara on the development proved abortive as he could not pick calls after several attempts.
