The Zamfara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of its workforce by approving an end-of-year bonus for public servants and pensioners.
The initiative is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure good governance, enhance employee motivation, and promote a prosperous society.
The development was contained in a circular issued by the Zamfara State Head of Service, Mr. Ahmad Liman, disclosing that the Governor approved a 13th-month salary equivalent to 30% of basic pay as a bonus for the year 2024.
Mr.Liman said the payment will be extended not only to serving public servants but also to pensioners, reflecting the administration’s dedication to inclusivity and welfare for all
He however urged all public servants to reciprocate the government’s gesture by demonstrating increased commitment, hard work, and efficiency in service delivery.
“Accordingly, all public servants are rightly urged to redouble their efforts and demonstrate their commitment also to the government and good people of Zamfara State in committing to hard work, productivity, devotion and efficient service delivery and to ensure unalloyed support to move forward the Rescue Mission of this administration.”
He emphasized that their dedication is essential to advancing the Rescue Mission agenda of his administration and ensuring a secure and prosperous Zamfara State
