Human experience is inexhaustive. It can’t be measured in ounce,kilogram or kelvin , it reflects only when it’s time to proof one’s mettle. The more reasons people usually prefer to return an experienced hand full of stories to tell than an offshoot start- up strutting of a stuff to show . Certainly, In election ,there is no time for trial run.
As an American prolific author and counsellor Wayne Dyer once says,
*each of your experience in life is necessary, its what takes you to the next level*”,
It’s therefore not surprising when at the recent APC rally at Ibarapa igbo Ora Arcade attended by who’s who in the party ,people began to extol the virtues of Dr Ajibola Muraina who has been carrying a trophy for representing the people of Ibarapa well in the House of representatives without resting on his oars .
Giving testimony of his exceptional knowledge in the House, a resident , Mr Adebiyi waxed rhetorical during the campaign ” how can we not return a proverbial winning horse “? He stressed, ” I will not only campaign for Hon Ajibola Muraina, I will mobilize people to vote for him “.
Alhaji Olaide Abass a prominent leader of the party in Ibarapa zone simply describes Hon Ajibola Muraina as “incomparable ” going by his on the job experience and numerous empowerment he is doing to put smiles on the faces of his constituents .
In his famous book written in 1611 ” The Tempest” William Shakespeare espouses the importance of having an experience through the main Characters ( Prospero and his daughter Miranda) in a remote island who had never seen another man in her life . That will be a story for another day, it suffices to state here that “experience counts”.
Sourcing experience through what Shakespeare calls “provocative discovery” shapens a man.
In a similar vein, prerequisite legislative experiences to carry out legislative functions and redress constituents grievances , sponsor Bills ,investigating the executive branch, passing budget into law, Move motions, defending constituents needs etc can be difficult like a hoary nut to crack to a greenhorn , but very easy to a legislator full of experiences and a scorecard to beat like a thid timer ( 2011to 2019) of Hon Saubana Ajibola Muraina’s calibre.
Experience,they say, trumps incompetence.
To continue enjoying robust legislation and peerless dividends of democracy, the good people of Ibarapa Central/ North can only return the tested and trusted legislature with lots of network to his advantage to represent them again in 2023..
