VIDEO: Jungle Justice: Suspect Burnt To Death In Oyo

In the Cele neighborhood of Oyo Town, Oyo State, a man who has not been recognized was set ablaze by an enraged crowd.

Witnesses claim that the terrible occurrence took place on Thursday at about 8:00 o’clock in the evening, when the suspect was accused of stealing a motorcycle known as a “okada.”

Speaking with reporters on Friday, a witness revealed that residents did not give the suspect a chance to speak before taking the law into their hands.

“He was beaten, pushed to the ground, and pressed by other machines as if they are ironing a set of cloth.” They echoed.

A passer-by (name-withheld) who also engaged our correspondent shared his displeasure on how citizens continually take laws into their hands without allowing the law to take its due course.

“Where are we going in this country? Why is the society full of narrow minded people who considered killing their fellow human beings?
