Two Serving Senators Dump PDP In Osun

The lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP , Senator Francis Fadahunsi, has resigned his membership from the party.

Senator Faduhusi made this known In a letter addressed to the PDP party chairman in Ward 4, Obokun Local Government of Osun State.

Senator Faduhusi ” i wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect, due to the irreparable, irreconcilable differences and protracted legal battles that have bedeviled the party at the national level after the 2023 general elections.”

The Lawmaker who is also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Industry, said his decision to resign was taken after consultations with his family and political associates.

“This was concluded after consultation and engagement with my political associates, family, and friends. It is my wish that you accept my resignation in good faith.” He added

Similarly , Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla has resigned form the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Senator Ajagunla made this known in a personally signed resignation letter to the Chairman PDP ward 3, Oke Ejigbo, Ila Orangun, Osun State.
