“Tinubu-Shettima Are Patriots Nigerians Need For Development” – Jagaban Vision Movement
A pro Tinubu/Shettima political group, Jagaban Vision Movement has described the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running, Kashim Shettima as the Patriots Nigeria needed for the progress and development of the country.
The group, at a press conference held at the Oyo state APC secretariate, Oke Ado, Ibadan said out of the 2023 presidential candidates, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has the best capacity to deliver considering his antecedents in transforming Lagos State.
Speaking through the convener, Jagaban Vision Movement, Prince Adegoke Ademola, the group said Asiwaju Tinubu was the only candidate that is interested in the development of the nation.
“Lagos State is the economic hub of Nigeria, West Africa and Africa in general, as at the time this man came in as governor of Lagos State, it was just about seven million population, today, Lagos is over seventeen in population. So why are people going there, you can’t go to desert to live”
He said the former Lagos State governor created the framework at which the state operate at the moment.
While speaking on insecurity situation in the country, Jagaban Vision Movement believed that the menace can be tackled if forests across the country, which are hideout of criminals are well utilized for agricultural and industrial purposes.
The group however counseled Nigerians to support, canvass and vote for APC at the presidential and state governorship elections in 2023.
It also disclosed that the group, which is recognized by the national and state offices of the APC as well as the presidential candidate of the party, will inaugurate it’s executive on Saturday 22nd October, 2022.
Others present at the press conference were the state coordinator of the group,Taiwo Fawole, and other members of the inauguration committee.
