Owolabi Olakulehin, who is set to become the Olubadan of Ibadan, is presently the Balogun of Ibadanland
Olakulehin becomes a newsmaker following Thursday’s demise of Ọba Lekan Balogun, who hailed from the same Ibadan North East local government with Olakulehin.
The would be Olubadan hails from Okugbaja family, Ita Baale area of Ibadan.
He is an ex-service man, because he served in the Nigerian Army.
In 1992, under the Social Democratic Party, SDP in the 3rd Republic, he contested and won the Federal House of Representatives elections.
He’s a devout Christian.
