The management of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Ondo state has announced the death of the assistant curator Taiwo Dosunmu hit by bullet during the gunmen attack on the team along Benin-Ore expressway.
The attack took place on December 7th 2023 as the team traveled for an away game against Bendel Insurance of Benin.
According to sunshine stars media officer Micheal Akintunde the dutiful assistant curator died at the intensive care unit of the university of Benin teaching hospital on Friday December 22,2023 after series of surgeries .
Akintunde described the Late Taiwo Dosunmu as a passionate, hardworking member of the sunshine stars.
