The SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria (SOS CVN) has awarded a ₦16 million grant to the Child Protection Network (CPN) Oyo State as a major boost to child protection efforts in the state,
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to strengthening child protection systems and improving the implementation of child rights programs across the state.

The grant will support awareness campaigns, case management, capacity building for child protection stakeholders, and direct interventions for at-risk children.
These initiatives align with CPN Oyo State’s mission to create a safe and nurturing environment, protecting children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
This collaboration follows the 2024 signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SOS CVN and CPN Oyo State, which set the foundation for joint efforts in child protection.
An initial ₦5,147,100 grant was disbursed after the MoU signing, and this additional funding will enable CPN Oyo State to expand its reach and provide essential services, particularly at the grassroots level.

CPN Oyo State remains steadfast in its mission to foster a secure and empowering environment for every child.
By working closely with key stakeholders, the network continues to uphold child rights and protection across Oyo State, ensuring that vulnerable children receive the care and support they deserve.
