Sallah: Providence Coalition President, Adeyoju Congratulates Muslims, Harps On Religious Harmony
President, Providence Coalition, a socio-political group in Oyo state, Prince Niran Adeyoju, SDM has extended a warm and sincere wishes to the residents of Oyo State and Muslims across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Kabir.
This is contained in a statement issued by the publicity secretary of the coalition, Comrade David Oluokun in Ibadan.
Prince Adeyoju said Eid El Kabir holds deep significance for Muslims worldwide, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
Prince Adeyoju emphasized the values of sacrifice, compassion, and community that characterize this auspicious festival.
He highlighted the spirit of unity and generosity that pervades Oyo State during Eid, where families come together to celebrate and share blessings with those less fortunate.
The coalition president said it is not a coincidence that this year’s sallah falls on a Sunday where Christains go to church, saying it is a sign that unity, tolerance and religious harmony must be taken seriously.
“As we gather with loved ones and neighbors to observe Eid El Kabir, let us reflect on the lessons of sacrifice and service to humanity,” Prince Niran Adeyoju remarked.
“May this occasion bring peace, joy, and prosperity to all residents of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.”
The Prince further expressed his hopes for continued harmony and progress across the state, underscoring the importance of unity and solidarity in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.
