Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke could not observe the two rakat prayer for the Eid-El-Kabir celebration as pandemonium broke out at the Osogbo Eid praying ground where the Governor was to observe the prayer.
The Governor left after the arranged space for him was hijacked by Former Senate Spokesperson, Senator Ajibola Bashir despite attempt by some Muslim leaders to wade in and arrange another space for Senator Bashir.
Governor Adeleke left the Eid praying ground after all effort to make the former Senator vacate the seat for him did not yield result.
Meanwhile, The Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheikh Animasahun led remaining worshippers at the Eid praying ground to observe the prayer for Eid-El-Kabir celebration, though after some had left due to fear.
However, there was no assassination attempt on the Governor as being rumoured on some online media.
