Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress across the ten local government areas of Oke-Ogun under the name Renewed Oke-Ogun APC have applauded the foresight of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the choice he made in the appointment of Hon Kola Olabiyi, former member, House of Representatives as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the FGN Power Company. Describing the appointee as a perfect fit.
A message jointly signed by members of the group from all the ten local government areas of Oke-Ogun congratulated the mercurial financial technocrat and grassroot mobiliser, whose score card while in office is yet to be matched in the history of representation in Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa federal constituency.
The Renewed Oke-Ogun APC members who issued the congratulatory message include Hon Amusat Ogunsola from Kajola Local Government, Alhaji Rasaki Raji- Olorunsogo local government, Mr. Dele Akinleye- Itesiwaju local government and Hon. Salam Fatai Adetunji – Iseyin local government.
Others are Hon. David Akin Ajeigbe – Shaki west local government, Alhaji Bonuola Azeez – Irepo local government, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Azeez, from ATISBO Local government, Hon. Adelowo Emmanuel Ameye- Iwajowa local government.
The signatories to the congratulatory Message also include Hon. Adesope Ishau Azeez- Orelope local government, Alhaji yisau Azeez – Saki East local government
The group said appointing Hon Kola Olabiyi as CFO of FGN Power Company by Mr President is a sign of good omen to the neglected people of Oke-Ogun and an indication that Mr President is willing to walk his talks that every age long inequalities will be adressed and corrected under the Renewed Hope mantra.
Describing Hon Kola Olabiyi as a goal getter and cosmopolitan politician, the group noted that apart from being a financial guru, the appointee of the President is deeply knowledgeable about the challenges of the nation and that of Oke-Ogun in particular, as such they expressed optimism that his appointment will be a blessing to Nigerians.
While assuring Mr President that Hon Kola Olabiyi is more than qualify to discharge his duties with fear of God and cutting edge professionalism, the group wishes Hon Olabiyi God’s guidance and robust health to deliver in his new assignment.
