Purified Entertainment: Ibadan To Host Klever Jay, Taye Currency, Others At Independence Day Live Show
To commemorate the 2024 Independence anniversary, the Purified Entertainment will on October 1st, 2024 organize an Independence Day Live Performance for fun seekers in Ibadan and its metropolis.
Addressing the journalists, the Chief Executive Officer, Purified Entertainment, Mr. Agboola Babawale, said the show would be held at Bottle Republik along UCH-Secretariat Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Babawale said that the theme of the show, “Purified Live Experience 001, Naija Sima Dun”, is in line with the aims and objectives of the company, which is to revive the entertainment life in Ibadan.
He noted that part of moves to show the readiness of Purified Entertainment in reshaping and purifying the entertainment sector of Ibadan is the Independence Day show.
Babawale, who disclosed that the show is designed to make the people of Ibadan shake off the present atmosphere in the country, said the show will feature ace Fuji artist, Taye Adebisi Currency, Klever Jay, Sinleke, Davidainojadu, Rave Temper, Young Flow Alhaji, among others.
“The show is an avenue to showcase our efforts and achievements in the last few months and this centered on our aims and objectives of reviving the entertainment sector of Ibadan metropolis.
“We are aware of the present economic situation in the country and we’re not relenting on our efforts of bringing smiles to people’s face irrespective of what they’re passing through. Depression is real, and it is our believe at Purified Entertainment that entertainment-driven society will reduce the level of depression if not totally eradicated. We say no to depression in any form, that is exactly what our brand stands for.
“In the last few months, some of our artistes have been releasing various songs that are restoring hope and aspirations of Nigerians and we are glad for the massive support and feedback we are getting. One of these singles is Naija Sima Dun.
“Naija Sima Dun is no doubt addressing the current economic situation in the country and it is on this premise that we announce a free show to our people in Ibadan metropolis to shake off the stress, unwind, network, connect and experience a band live performance from the A list artistes and the up and coming music talents we have in the country.
“The show, tagged “Purified Live Experience 001 Naija Sima Dun” is scheduled to hold on October 1st, which is our 64th independence Day as a nation. The show is proudly supported by Bottles Republik, and our door is open for sponsorship deal from any interested organization.
“We have secured a deal to bring on board some notable artistes including Alhaji Taye Currency, Klever Jay, Sinleke, Davidainojadu, Rave Temper, Young Flow Alhaji, among others. We’ve equally have some well known DJs, hypeman, radio OAPs, dancers and others that will be showcasing their talents for our listening pleasures.
“This show will be one of the best, if not the best and talk of the town as we are ready to provide undiluted fun with maximum security.
Babawale clarified that the show is absolutely free for every fun lover to catch their moment, however, revealed that there will be reservations for tables for the VVIP and VIP lounges, as well as other provided arenas for people to enjoy themselves.
In his address, Purified Entertainment Media Manager, Mr. Kazeem Awojoodu, disclosed that the organizers of the show are in talk with security operatives in order to provide adequate security and ensure hitch-free fanfare.
He said that the show is going to be a continuous event in consonance with the aim of the brand, adding that the company management has been meeting with people that matter in the entertainment sector of Oyo State with aim of stepping up in the entertainment ladder in the country.
