Providence Coalition President, Prince Niran Adeyoju, Felicitates Mrs. Wemimo Beckley On 79th Birthday
The President of the Providence Coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju, has extended warm felicitations to Mrs. Wemimo Beckley, a respected leader and pillar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and Ibadan North, on the occasion of her 79th birthday.
In a statement issued in Ibadan by the publicity secretary, Elder David Oluokun, Prince Adeyoju described Mrs. Beckley as *“a woman of uncommon integrity, a devoted public servant, and a steadfast supporter of progressive ideals whose contributions to Oyo politics remain indelible.”*
He lauded her decades of selfless service to the party and the people, noting that Mrs. Beckley’s leadership and mentorship have inspired many younger politicians to embrace integrity, discipline, and commitment in the pursuit of public good.
“Mama Beckley has remained a beacon of wisdom and moral strength within the APC family. Her enduring passion for the unity and progress of Oyo State stands as a model for all of us who seek to serve,” Prince Adeyoju stated.
Prince Adeyoju also prayed for continued good health, strength, and happiness for Mrs. Beckley, wishing her many more fruitful years in service to God and humanity.
“At 79, Mama’s intellect, grace, and courage continue to shine brightly. We celebrate a true mother of the progressive movement and pray that her legacy continues to inspire generations yet unborn,” he added.
Mrs. Wemimo Beckley, a revered figure in Oyo APC and a matriarch of the progressive family, has been instrumental in fostering unity and inclusion within the party’s ranks for several decades.
