Property Damaged, One Injured, Others Escaped By Whisker As Car Loses Control In Ibadan

At least six shops have been damaged while one person sustained injury this afternoon following an accident caused by a brake failure of a space bus around Adegbayi, Aba Otun area in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
According to witness account by a passer-by, Kaosara Adeola, the space bus was descending a sloppy lane with speed when the driver lost control as a result of the mechanical failure of the car’s braking system.
She said the incident led to the vehicle ramming into shops and sales points, while one person sustained critical injury.
She said people scampered for safety on sighting the car which helped in reducing the number of casualties that might be recorded from the accident.
Adeola added that injured person and passengers were rescued and was taken to the hospital.
