OYSCATECH Rector Congratulates Christians, Gov. Makinde, Others At Christmas; Calls For More Prayers
The Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi has congratulated the entire Staff, Students, OYSCATECH Christian Community, Christians all over the world and Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State on the occasion of his 56th Birthday celebration and for the opportunity to witness this year’s Christmas celebration.
Prof. Akinlabi in his Christmas message, signed by the Registrar, Mr. Rasheed Fasasi Adenrele Adeniji underscored the need for everyone to be thankful to God who graciously preserved our lives to partake of this year’s Christmas Celebration despite the challenges in the land.
He commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State for the prompt payment of Staff salaries and other notable initiatives aimed at making life comfortable for the good people of Oyo State.
He advised Christians to embrace the love and sacrificial life style of Jesus Christ who displayed uncommon love through his death for mankind.
Prof. Akinlabi called for more prayers for the Management of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora to succeed in the mission of providing excellent training in agriculture, technology, science, management and research for self-sustainability of youths and interested individuals.
He charged the Staff and Students to renew their dedication to work, raise the bar of commitment and personal development for the advancement of the institution and efficient service delivery.
Prof. Akinlabi urges Students to double their efforts by studying hard and avoid social vices that are inimical to realizing their dreams and OYSCATECH tradition of academic and moral excellence.
The Rector charges Staff and Students to shun religious intolerance, rancor and acrimony but sustain peaceful co-existence which is key to progress and development.
Prof. Akinlabi also used the opportunity to appreciate the Executive Governor of the State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Governing Council Chairman and Members, Staff, Students, Traditional Rulers and Community Leaders for their constant support and confidence reposed in Akinlabi led Management of OYSCATECH for the past one year.
The Rector reiterates the Management’s commitment to the welfare and development of the Polytechnic, Staff and Students in order to strengthen the collective effort of achieving the vision and mission of the institution.
Prof. Akinlabi wishes the Visitor, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde a Happy Birthday and Christmas Celebration.
He also wishes the entire Governing Council, Staff, Students of OYSCATECH and Nigerians, a prosperous Year 2024.
