The Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi and the institution have been conferred with Transparency Africa Honour.
Presenting the awards, the Executive Secretary, Amb. Afi Kunto, who was represented Mr. Ghoris hinted that the honour was in recognition of Prof. Akinlabi’s excellence and integrity in leadership matters.
Similarly, the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora was honoured with Africa outstanding Certificate in affirmation of the Institution’s commitment towards good and qualitative education in Nigeria.
Receiving the awards, the rector, Prof. Akinlabi lauded Transparency Africa whose mandate is achieving a corrupt free Africa for counting him and the institution worthy of the honour.
Prof. Akinlabi used the occasion to pledge his renewed commitment to transparency, accountability, quality leadership and service delivery.
Also present at the official presentation ceremony were the Deputy Rector, Dr. Taiwo Akinyemi, and the Registrar, Mr. R. F. A. Adeniji.
