The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has formally notified the State House of Assembly of the conclusion of his vacation and consequent resumption of duty.
The notification was contained in a letter forwarded to the House by the Governor.
The letter was read at Tuesday’s plenary by the Speaker, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin.
Governor Seyi Makinde said in line with the provision of Section 190(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, the letter was meant to officially inform the House of the conclusion of his vacation and his resumption of duty.
Recall that the Oyo State House of Assembly granted the request of Governor Seyi Makinde to proceed on vacation between 11th of August, 2022 and 2nd of September, 2022.
