Oyo APC Peace Advocates Join Ogbomoso Unity Rally, Affirm Support for President Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election
The Oyo APC Peace Advocates, led by its Convener, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), on Tuesday joined other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbomoso for a unity rally aimed at strengthening party cohesion and affirming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The rally, which attracted party leaders, youth groups, women leaders, ward executives, and supporters from across Ogbomoso zones, was organised to promote unity, reconciliation, and collective commitment to the ideals of the APC ahead of future electoral engagements.
Speaking at the event, Prince Adeyoju described the unity rally as a timely move to consolidate peace within the party and galvanise members towards a common goal. He noted that President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated commitment to economic reforms, national stability, and democratic governance, stressing that continuity would further deepen ongoing reforms.
According to him, the Oyo APC Peace Advocates was established to foster harmony, bridge internal differences, and promote issue-based politics within the party. He urged party members to shun divisive tendencies and work collectively to reposition the APC for electoral success in Oyo State and across the country.
Other APC leaders at the rally also emphasised the importance of internal unity, grassroots mobilisation, and loyalty to party leadership, noting that a united APC remains the strongest platform to deliver good governance and national development.
Chants, solidarity songs, and the display of party insignia characterised the rally as participants openly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, while pledging to work tirelessly for the growth of the party.
The Ogbomoso unity rally concluded with calls for sustained engagement, reconciliation among stakeholders, and renewed commitment to the APC’s progressive agenda.
