Oyelade’s Demise: Kolapo Kola-Daisi, Mourns, Commiserates With Family, Olubadan

The Otun Bobajiroro of Ido Iand and Oyo South Senatorial Candidate in the 2023 general election, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, KKD, has described the death of Eekefa Olubadan of Ibadan, and the Baba Isale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Alhaji Lateef Oyedoyin Oyelade, has a great loss to Ibadan.

In a statement personally signed in Ibadan, Oloye Kolapo Kola-Daisi said he received the news of the passing of the remarkable leader with deep sadness.

He said “Baba was not just a man of titles, but a man of unwavering commitment to the betterment of Ibadan and Oyo State in general. As the Eekefa Olubadan of Ibadan, he carried the weight of tradition and history with grace and dignity. His contributions to the cultural heritage of Ibadanland will be celebrated for generations.

“As the Baba Isale Musulumi of Ibadanland, Alhaji Oyelade played a pivotal role in promoting religious harmony and understanding.

“His passing leaves a huge void, but his legacy will forever illuminate the path for generations to come.

“May Allah [SWT] grant him Aljanah Firdaus; and may his legacy continue to guide us as we honor his memory and carry forward the values he held dear.
