Osun State’s political landscape witnessed another major political development on Saturday, 18 July 2026, as Hon. Chief (Dr.) Peter Taiwo Ogundeji (APATA) held a high-level meeting with the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, at the Government House, Osogbo.

Receiving APATA, Governor Adeleke formally welcomed him into the Accord family, describing his decision to join the party as a major political gain and a significant boost to its growing grassroots strength across Osun State.
