Friends, well wishers and members of Obisesan family of Ibadanland have bid farewell to late mama Grace Obisesan, mother of the Chief Executive Officer, Orbit Homes and Properties and Otun Oba Alararo Of Araro in Ona Ara local government, Otunba Dimeji Obisesan.
The event which was held at Jovick Event Centre, Aroro-Makinde, Ojoo had a brief funeral service and immediately followed by interment of the deceased at her husband’s residence and entertainment of guests.
Newsarena.ng reports that mama Grace Obisesan died on 7th June, 2025 at 78 years old.
In an emotion laden tribute, the Chairman and CEO Orbits Homes and Properties and Fehinti Properties, Otunba Dimeji Obisesan, popularly called “Africa” described his late mother as loving, disciplined and caring who was dedicated to the proper upbring of her children.
While recalling his humble beginning, Otunba Obisesan said his mother will always exhibit her motherly roles.
Earlier in a sermon, Reverend Sunday Oyekola of Victory Baptist Church, Apete who spoke on the topic “Death of the righteous” admonished the guests to live a righteous life on earth.
Reverend Oyekola said the death of the righteous always bring good memories even after their passing, urging people to remember that there is always an end to life.
Mama Grace Obisesan is survived by husband, Children, including Bamidele, Toke, Sunday, Dimeji, Mary and their grandchildren.
