The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon. Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade has congratulated the new Chief Imam of Eruwa, Alhaji AbdulKareem Abdulsalam Olore and Alhaji Mudathir Adetunji Yusuf Adedeji, the new Naaibul Imam of Eruwa on their turbans.
Hon. Arogundade made the Congratulatory message in a release issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Femi Ojedokun and made available to newsmen.

According to him, the turbaning will remain unforgettable and will continue to linger in the memory of sons and daughters of Eruwa community, most especially the Muslim faithful.

The council boss appreciated the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin1, Eruwa Elders’ Council led by Chief Seun Peluola and religious leaders for their intervention which made the turbaning possible.
Hon. Arogundade further stated that development could only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, urging the new Chief Imam and Naaibul Imam of Eruwa to maintain peace for the sake of progress of the town and Islamic religion.
“The Imamship crisis started about ten year ago after the demise last Chief Imam of Eruwa, Alh. Adesina and since then there had been crisis within the fold but we thank God for the peaceful resolution.
