The Oyo state Western Nigeria Security Network, code named, Amotekun has achieved a significant success in rescuing four kidnapped persons, including the two wives of Baale of Alagbede and sons.
According to Oyo State Commandant, Olayanju Olayinka, the rescue operation was a collaborative effort between Amotekun officers and local hunters in Ojutaye, along Oretu Road.

The victims were kidnapped from their residence in Alagbede village, near Kola Daisi University in Akinyele, Ibadan, at around 1 am on Tuesday.
The efforts however yielded as one of the suspects has been apprehended
According to reports, one of the local hunters, known as Ojo, lost his life during the rescue operation.
However, Radio Nigeria gathered that Amotekun officers and local hunters are still in pursuit of the kidnappers, having successfully cornered them in a specific area as at the time of this report.
This development highlights the ongoing efforts of the Oyo State Amotekun to address security concerns in the region.
