Results of 15 out of 18 local government areas in the Ondo State Governorship Election held on Saturday November 16 have been collated.
The 15 council areas released with APC leading are Ifedore, Ondo East, Ileoluji/Okeigbo, Idanre, Irele, Akoko South-West, Owo, Ondo West, Akoko South-East, Akoko North-West, Ose, Akure South, Akoko North-East, Akure North and Okitipupa
The total from the 13 council areas indicates APC has 301,113 while PDP garners 97,051
Results from 3 local government areas still being expected are Odigbo, Ilaje and Ese-Odo.
The State Returning Officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi of the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State is supervising the collation .
Others present at the collation centre included INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC in Ondo State, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola, National Commissioners, political parties agents, ICCESS members, Observers and security agencies.
