Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, the Accord Party’s candidate for the Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has vowed to put the needs of his constituents first if he is chosen to represent them in the lower house, urging voters to support him.
Aleshinloye, a former Algon state chairman, made this statement on Wednesday at the shoe makers association’s celebration of Shoe Makers Day at Top One Garden in Ibadan.
He claimed that the shoemakers association is a component of his initiatives for genuine empowerment and that he will push legislation to advance the welfare and well-being of the craftspeople.
“In all modesty, I have assured you all of a new dawn in the history of legislative representation in Oluyole Federal Constituency . I have equally, promised to represent the people of Oluyole Federal Constituency with commitment, integrity and passion, leveraging on all the political and social capital I have acquired over three decades as a social activist , media practioneer, local government and Algon chairman respectively most importantly as a proud son of Oluyole ; who grew up in ibadan; attended public school in Oyo State; and has lived and worked continuously in Oluyole Federal Constituency for the past three and a half decades.
“I will continue to empower Oluyole youths, women, elders and carry out human capital and infrastructure development in Oluyole communities. I have done this before as a local government chairman and will sustain and enhance such pro-people programmes.
I will put my constituency as priority in the legislative chambers by sponsoring several bills for the interest of Oluyole federal constituency and Nigerians at large in the House,if elected”
Aleshinloye added: “I will consider it as the greatest honour of my life if you, my people in Oluyole Federal Constituency, find me worthy to represent you at the house of representatives on the platform of ACCORD party . I, therefore, urge you all to turn out in large numbers to elect me as the next member, house of representatives for Oluyole Federal Constituency”.
