NSCDC Decorates 801 Newly Promoted Officers In Oyo

Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC Oyo state command has decorated eight hundred and one newly promoted officers of the command

NSCDC commandant in the state, Dr Michael Adaralewa performed the exercise at the Command’s headquarters, Agodi Ibadan.

Dr Adaralewa said twenty one thousand three hundred and eighty five officers were promoted nationwide by the civil defense, correctional service, fire service and Nigeria immigration service.

Dr Adaralewa said the promotion was fasten up by the efforts of the minister of interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and NSCDC commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar.

He noted that their efforts addressed the issue of stagnation and ensured that all eligible personnel were promoted The Oyo State Commandant said the development would significantly enhance the morale and productivity of the corps workforce.

He noted that promotions are not merely titles or badges but they represent a renewed sense of purpose and motivation for the officers.

“Promotion are recognition of your expertise, experience and unwavering dedication to service and they are a powerful symbol of the NSCDC’s commitment to growth, professionalism and excellence”

Dr Adaralewa stated further that with the array of newly promoted personnel, the command was now better equipped than ever to fulfill its mandate.

“We have a stronger, more experienced and more motivated workforce ready to tackle the security challenges confronting the state”

The NSCDC boss in Oyo state said the promotion was a reflection of dedication, hard work and commitment to the ideals of the NSCDC, exhibited by the affected personnel.

He urged them to continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, inte and service to the nation.

“To those officers who were not promoted this time around, I encourage you not to be discouraged as promotion is a process and there will be other opportunities.”

One of the newly promoted officers and the longest serving public relations officer of the command, Mr Oluwole Olusegun who was promoted from the rank of chief supretendent of corps, CSC to assistant commandant of corps, ACC said he gave all the glory to God for the elevation.

Mr Olusegun promised to work harder as promotion came with more efforts to ensure that peoples lives are safe and secured.

The breakdown of the promoted officers included nine deputy commandants of corps, DDC, 26 assistant commandants of corps, ACC, thirty seven chief supretendents of corps, CSC, 137 Superintendents of corps, 180 deputy superintendents of corps, 324 assistant superintendents of corps one and 88 assistant superintendents of corps two.
