Nigeria @62: Ajimobi Advocates Peaceful Elections, Greater Commitment In Nation Building

Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi, an APC House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan South West Constituency II, has urged for more enthusiastic participation from voters, particularly young people, in the general elections in 2023.

In a message of goodwill delivered on Friday in Ibadan in honor of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day, Ajimobi praised the nationalists’ efforts in bringing about the country’s independence. He also praised Nigeria’s democratic heroes who paved the path for the country’s present regime. In his speech, Ajimobi urged Nigeria’s youth to get involved in politics and government, adding that many of the country’s historical heroes did so while they were young.

Idris Ajimobi congratulated the people of Oyo State and urged political figures and parties to support peace in the upcoming election in order to advance the state and nation, emphasizing that 2023 will be a pivotal year for the future of our beloved nation.

Additionally, he urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to take decisive action to guarantee that the elections are free and fair and that the results accurately reflect the will of the electorate.
