The Ogunsua of Modadeke, Oba Joseph Toriola, has received an instrument of authority from Osun State Governor Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola.
Governor Oyetola urged the Indigenes, both at home and abroad, to support and work with the king for the overall development of the town as he presented the office staff to Oba Toriola.
When he congratulated the town’s Indigenes, the governor wished them success and growth under the new king’s rule.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, said that the two communities of Ife and Modakeke are strongly united and dedicated to maintaining peace between them.
The new Ogunsua, Oba Toriola, responded by expressing his willingness to work for the town’s growth and development and calling for everyone’s assistance to realize his goal.
The Oluomo of Modakeke, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, praised Oba Ogunsua as a seasoned individual with international networks who is knowledgeable about culture and tradition after having to wait for 43 years to take the throne.
