Ministers, Governors To Attend Thursday’s APC Presidential Rally In Ibadan

All the state governors and ministers from the South West of Ogun, Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, including the immediate past Governor of Osun State , Alhaji Isiaka Oyetola are expected to grace the rescheduled presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress, APC holding at the historic Mapo Hall on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

A statement by the Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan says the Local Organizing Committee for the rally, Mr Kehinde Olaosebikan, all arrangements for the mega rally have been concluded.

The statement notes that The southern governors will be joined by their counterparts from Kano, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Kaduna, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Imo, Hope Uzodinma, Nasarawa , Abdullahi Sule, Niger, Abubakar Sanni Bello and others at the rally where the Presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would unfold his plans and programs for Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

It says the seven ministers from the South West Zone, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Works; Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Trade, Industry and Investment; Senator Adeleke Mamora, Science and Technology; Dr. Olamilekan Adegbite, Mines and Solid Mineral; Ademola Adegoroye, Transportation; Rauf Aregbesola, Interior and the host Minister, Chief Sunday Dare, Youth and Sports are also expected at the campaign rally.

APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu will lead members of the National Working Committee of the party and other top chieftains of the party across Nigeria to the rally.

The statement says the National headquarters of the All progressives Congress, the Presidential Campaign Council and the Presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu together with his running mate , Senator Kashim Shettima, all place high importance on Oyo State and were desirous of a pacesetting campaign rally in the state with the attendance of all the big wigs from South West and beyond.

According to Olaosebikan, the State Coordinator for the Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Council, Senator Teslim Folarin and the Director General for the APC campaigns in Oyo State, Dr. Isiaka Kolawole were leaving no stone unturned towards making the rally a huge success and mother of all rallies

The Media and Publicity Committee Chairman disclosed that top notch security arrangements have been put in place in around all the venues, for maximum security of people and their property adding that human and vehicular movements too would be as smooth as possible on all the streets and leading to all the locations to be visited by the campaign train.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima would be received on arrival at the Alakia Airport by the governors, ministers and other top dignitaries led by the gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin from where they would proceed to the palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan Land , Oba Mohood Lekan Balogun. The presidential campaign motorcade would make a brief stop at Idi Ape to commence a colorful procession to Mapo for the main event.

Music maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde K 1 would lead the sensational Fuji Merenge, Rasheed Ayinde and other top musicians to serenade at the rally. It is going to be highly informative, enlightening and entertaining. It will be classy and groovy.
